About

A professionally qualified interior designer, a member of the BIID (British Institute of Interior Design) and former colour consultant at Farrow & Ball, Charlotte Stuart has a wealth of experience in the industry. With an extensive knowledge of colour and textiles, as well as end-to-end practical skills, she ensures a successful delivery of every project.

Charlotte believes interior design is highly personal, and that we are attracted to colours and styles that reflect us. Part of her expertise lies in understanding clients’ tastes and preferences, then carefully considering all elements from the decorative to the functional, for longevity. Together with her natural flair for interiors and eye for detail, this results in stylish, luxurious homes that flow cohesively throughout. Not only will she bring their vision to life, she will actively encourage clients to go beyond what they imagined, to create truly original spaces.

Projects range in size and scope, from designing a single room to full property renovations. Supported by a small team and working alongside trusted tradespeople, a high-quality finish is consistently achieved. The flexible manner in which she works enables her to offer a tailored package to suit individual requirements. This ranges from an hourly consultancy to a fixed fee.

In addition to her interior design work, Charlotte is an established public speaker. Past clients include Colefax and Fowler, Julian Chichester, House & Garden, Margit Wittig, BIID and Farrow & Ball. Her understanding of colour, concept and storytelling has also led her to partner with brands who require unique styling for their events and photo shoots.

“Charlotte worked with House & Garden on a Reader Event with Julian Chichester at Ham Yard Hotel. Speaking about the new furniture and lighting collections, she shared some useful design tips and inspired the audience about how to pull a room scheme together. She was a brilliant partner for the event and we look forward to working with her in the future.”
