Spanish Villa

We updated both the inside and outside of this traditional Spanish villa, which is used as a luxury holiday home. Our main role was organising the logistics from afar and working closely, both with our client and a team on the ground, to ensure the project was delivered successfully. Dark spaces were revitalised with the use of new window treatments, paints, upholstery, wallpaper and by bringing bold patterns and colours into play.

“Following an inspiration talk for House and Gardens, coupled with a compelling pitch, I instructed Charlotte Stuart Interiors with the complete refurbishment of a five-bedroom villa and guest pool house in Marbella.

The project required a high degree of expertise in international logistics and an unflappable ability to execute a polished, impactful result. The most critical element to appointing any interior designer, is that they can accurately translate and deliver the look and feel you want to achieve. Charlotte´s ability to deliver on this is, without exception, outstanding. The brief included full schematics for each room, the ability to appoint local, trustworthy specialist traders to carry out building work, carpentry, painting and soft furnishings who would be able to complete a job not only in a timely manner, but most importantly on budget.

One of Charlotte’s greatest strengths is her ability to navigate and create a successful journey throughout a house. Rooms naturally lead into each other creating harmonious, inviting spaces which don’t compete with each other, but strike the right balance between elegant living and a playful nod to contemporary flair. The end result is an enduring visual feast for the eyes.  Charlotte has overdelivered on every promise in her pitch. Moving forward I would not consider taking on a refurbishment without first consulting her diary.”
